I'm Ginny and I'm one of the 2013-2014 co-chairs! I love
Helping  Paws and have been an active member/officer since my freshman year. I
am a senior Global Studies and Political Science double major and I love animals, specifically large dogs and lions. I picked a lion as  my animal because I am almost always talking or laughing loudly at meetings and  have been known to unintentionally "roar" in my emails. Don't be scared of my  noise, I'm a nice, fluffy person at heart. Shoot me an email with any questions about Helping Paws!

Hi Everyone!  My name is Casey, a senior Biology major with Chemistry minor, and I am one of the two Helping Paws co-chairs.  I've been involved with Helping Paws since my freshman year, and the club and its values have been a huge part of my life ever since.  I have also served as Puppies in the Pit Coordinator, and am happy to now serve as co-chair for the second year.  Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you want to get involved with Helping Paws - we'd love to have you!  My animal of choice is a giraffe, representing my height and clumsiness.

I’m Swathi, and I’m this year’s Helping Paws Training and On-Campus Outreach Coordinator. I’m a senior Psychology major with a minor in Sexuality Studies. I’ve been a part of Helping Paws since my freshman year, but got a lot more involved this past year. Serving Helping Paws this year, I’ll be working to get training sessions set up with OCAS, as well as organizing events on campus (other than Puppies in the Pit). I’ve always been an animal lover & I picked a manatee as my animal because, aside from my absurd love of dogs, they’re my favorite animal.

My name is Laura and I am a sophomore Elementary Education major with a Hispanic Studies minor. I'm from Charlotte, NC and have dreamed of going to UNC ever since I can remember! I loved working with Helping Paws as a freshman and going to the shelter always brightens up my day! I have a 9 year old Dachshund at home named Carolina and she is my biggest fan. My spirit animal is a swan. I am idealistic, open-minded, and passionate. People think they can take advantage of me but they better watch out, because I have a fighting spirit! I love unconditionally. I wouldn't exactly say that I'm graceful or love to swim but I definately stick out in a crowd! So glad to be part of your team this year!
